in AFFC Brienne is hanged. I just can't believe that she is dead. I think it's possible that she was cut down at the last minute. I just gotta think she is playing a key role throughout the book. She is one of the only honorable characters that is a key player. Also, I think she and Jaime will hook up in the end. . .although I could see it being a tragic love affair as well.

Catelyn Stark has gone beyond her narrow focus of retribution against the Lannisters and the Freys. Brienne is one of the truly honourable characters. I hope all turns out well for her but I have my doubts. WIth what Biter did to her face, which as we are constantly reminded, is not pretty in the least, I wonder how much more abuse she will take? I do believe that she will accept Catelyn's demand just to save Pod. If she can find Sansa and Arya and return them to Catelyn, Catelyn may release her from having to kill Jaime. Jaime is after all, in sending Brienne out to look for Sansa, attempting to fulfill a vow made to Catelyn. Very twisty, but do-able. -
